Aidan Steeves, first-year º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½dent and major scholarship recipient, knew from the start that St. Thomas University was the right fit.

“I was absolutely over the moon,” said Steeves, reflecting on the moment he discovered he had been awarded a major scholarship.

“Knowing that I was valued and wanted by a university that I could see myself fulfilling my goals and aspirations at meant the world to me."

Steeves, originally from Summerside, PE, chose to attend º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ because of its tight-knit community, values, and dedication to the liberal arts.

"I feel incredibly supported knowing I have like-minded people around me."

“I wake up excited for my classes.”

Since arriving at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, Steeves said that his experience has been everything he hoped it would be, with highlights being the small class sizes, the overall learning environment, and the opportunity to meet new people.

"I'm thankful for º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½'s supportive and incredibly kind atmosphere,” he said.

"At º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, I have the opportunity to study what I'm passionate about, meaning there's never a dull day in my academics. I'm grateful that I wake up excited for my classes."

"When you know, you know. The university clicked with me; I'm excited to be at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½."
